Branding

Smartport, a growing tech retailer, needed a clearer identity. I created a distinct wordmark and digital-first branding to establish a confident brand presence.

Challenge

Despite high customer traffic driven by attractive offers, Smartport lacked a consistent brand identity. Visual inconsistencies across platforms and a pending legal dispute due to name confusion with Cyberport revealed the urgent need for a distinctive and unified appearance.

Solution

I created a bold, digital-first brand system centered around a custom wordmark with a USB-C–inspired “O” – a minimal yet striking shape that doubles as a scalable key visual. The logo is flexible, responsive, and highly recognizable across platforms. A high-contrast color palette of black, orange, and white ensures strong differentiation and brand recall in a crowded tech market.
